Role/Objectives

To architect, design , deploy and maintain a Web App providing all the key functionalities of the website using HTML5 and CSS3 media queries to emulate the Native App . This also included building all the required web services.

Process Followed

Based on the initial discussions and understanding document, a prototype was sent to the client. The prototype was tested and the feedback provided was used to prepare a detailed functional specification document . The functional specifications were reviewed and change requests were incorporated into it as required. The final document was signed-off and used to prepare the technical specification and project schedule after discussion with the Development, QA and Design teams.

The project was broken into several phases and with interim releases to keep the client constantly updated on the project status. QA was done for every release on multiple devices before and after every release to the client. The test case reports were used to fix bugs in subsequent releases.

Client review calls were done before and after each release with client feedback/suggestions and clarifications.

The final release was done smoothly after substantive internal QA and UAT testing .

Results/Benefits

The project was completed as per plan , on schedule with features working as expected. There was no impact on website performance. The web app has been running smoothly since 2012.
