Work closely with the client and understand their high level requirements and convert them into a functional specification. End to end Development , web design , QA, release and implantation of all the features ensuring that there is minimal impact on the existing codebase and the site is responsive.

We had to implement e-commerce into the website.

Agile Methodology was followed during the entire project lifecycle to ensure continuous customer involvement and quickly respond to changes. The Client was also part of the sprint release meetings to give feedback and reviews which were incorporated in the subsequent sprints.

To handle dynamic requirements iterative planning was done along with increased communication with product owner. Testing and Reviews were done in parallel until the final product delivery using test cases that were created based on the requirements.

To ensure smooth releases and minimal defects post-delivery, the following types of testing were implemented:

  • Functional testing.
  • Integration testing
  • Compatibility testing (Across different OS with different browsers on desktop as well as wide range of mobile devices)
  • Usability testing
  • Security testing.
  • Regression testing.
  • Payment gateway testing.

UAT was done by business team to ensure all the business requirements are met before deployment to production environment.

Results

The end result is a brand new design, efficient and responsive E- Commerce website that works seamlessly with more functionality , increased customer base and revenue. The best practices of testing and new website with responsive design helped the client in targeting the end users to place the orders both from desktop and across a wide range of devices(Both iOS and Android) with the best user experience and minimum navigation.
